AreaTemps-Inc. is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Mentor, OH
A food company is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for serving customers by providing company production informational along with service solutions. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Conduct daily sale order calls, process orders, and provide support to customer inquiries
- Communicate with customers and representatives on sales order concerns, short or out of stock inventory, and offer variable solutions
- Participate in company training, sales activities, and assist in preparation of sample coordination
- Understand and use company platforms, resolve internal and external customer concerns, and communicate new product placements or issues
- Coordinate pre orders with key accounts, communicate to purchasing team, coordinate product targets from leads, and provide target account follow-up support
- Develop and maintain good relationships, support Wholesale and Marketing teams, and perform other assignments as needed
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have at least 2 years in the food service industry, sales, kitchen and/or customer service experience; No seafood allergies
- Must have a strong desire to please others while up-selling, suggestive selling, and the ability to provide service to customers
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills while being professional
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel Spreadsheets, CRM, and order processing systems is needed
- Must have the ability to discuss cooking ideas and experiences
- Must be able to adhere to all Safety, BRC, Food Safe, and GMP Guidelines
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry packages up to 40 pounds and able to stand for extended periods of time
